Sonica & I watched and enjoyed what would probably go down as one of the best rock concerts of 2017. At least for what’s left of this year on our itinerary.

Those who know me well also know that I absolutely love Pink Floyd.
Everyone at our home loves to listen to the Floyd. And by grace of good luck we recently had an opportunity to experience Roger Waters live at the DAR Constitutional Hall last year. Along with a beautiful and brave band called MusiCorps.
Yet, this year is a step up.
David Gilmour, the lead guitarist & vocalist of Pink Floyd, is coming to New York for a full blown concert titled Rattle that Lock.
At the venue of venues: The Madison Square Garden.
Tonight we’re are attending the Roger Waters live at the DAR Constitution Hall, Washington, DC.
I am so, sooo excited!

What does it feel to hear someone from forty years ago?
Or more specifically hear ‘Welcome to the machine’ from Pink Floyd?
The song feels quite dystopian to me. But that’s not important. What’s striking is that forty years ago things were not very different from what they’re today. Not a bit different.
